Not only the performance of Tim Blake at our festival was impressive, the fact that we were able to contract Tim and have him over, and the experiences that night and day were hilarious and unforgettable for most of us (the organisation team).
We will cover more stories and images on Tim Blake, because there have been written and published quite some reviews and opinions. But we start with a small batch of pictures.
But first: a short story that Tim Blake wrote to us (Alfa Centauri fans) in january 2021: “When I had the pleasure of performing for You all at Alpha Centauri, I was just starting the recording of Tide of the Century, So I thought, maybe , some of You would enjoy a performance , from a few years later, with Jean-Philippe Rykiel helping me out!”
I remember that those days the World was full of rumour and potential war while Tim created and played his ‘protest’ songs. I now see, these days with the war in Ukraine, that Tim was right with his warnings….
