On Wednesday, June 7th, the Alan R. Pearlman Foundation invites you to celebrate the birthday of its namesake and founder of ARP synthesizers, Alan R. Pearlman.
Make sure to visit the Alan R. Pearlman youtube channel on june 7th.
Throughout the day, we will post many of our favorite ARP Live! interviews and performances, followed by a watch party at 5PM ET hosted by Dina Alacaly Pearlman-Ifil.
During the watch party premiere, you will be treated to:
- A recently-recovered TV demonstration from ARP’s very own Tom Piggot, featuring the ARP 2600, Odyssey, and other instruments (this time in vibrant 1970s color)
- A new interview with Jim Michmerhuizen, author of the much-beloved “ARP 2600 User’s Manual”
- An interview with the legendary Greg Phillinganes, the longtime keyboardist for Stevie Wonder, David Gilmour, Toto and Eric Clapton, as well as musical director for Michael Jackson
In addition, throughout the day we will be introducing some all new ARP-themed merchandise and discounts on many of our existing items, all of which will be available at our store.
