The English poet/singer/musician Anne Clark is one of the first artists to combine spoken word with music. With her debut album The Sitting Room (1982), full of melancholic lyrics set to distant electronica, Clark put herself on the map as the voice of a generation. Clarke collaborated with Depeche Mode, John Foxx and other electronic musicians.
In the 1990s, Clark took a different direction and her work became more acoustic and classical in tone, culminating in her latest album Borderland – Found Music For A Lost World (2022). Tonight Anne Clark brings a cross-section of her rich career with a semi-acoustic backing band!
