Axxent Opaque (which is Colin Jordan, Gary Wright and Chris Medway) announced: “Two concerts, two days on the trot. Both fantastic venues. A first for us playing in a church. Both venues are churches, both being very different from each other. Something, I personally, have long dreamt of doing. And great to be sharing the bill on both occasions with Richard Bean. We are very proud and excited to announce that Axxent Opaque will be playing a full set at St Mary’s church, Wedmore, Somerset on Friday 28th October 2022, the day before the Synths By The Sea event in Teignmouth, Devon.
Because Synths Beside the Sea unfortunately clashes with Awakenings, this Wedmore concert provides an ideal opportunity for those who may wish to see us play and also attend Awakenings the following day. Our plan is to record both concerts and hopefully select the best bits from each for a possible live CD release soon after. We will be developing and expanding the new material we played at Awakenings in May, but because everything is played absolutely live and the atmosphere of each concert will be unique, we expect there to be substantial differences in our played performances between Wedmore and Teignmouth. Come and support us and enjoy a quality evening of exciting electronic music played LIVE! More details will be posted soon….”
The concerts will take place on Friday october 28 at Wedmore and the day after at Teignmouth.
