This news reached us just in time: Electronic Music performances in Landegem, Belgium on August 20, 2022.
Line-up
- 17:30 – SEBASTOPOL Sebastopol is Marc Debroey’s moniker. The man is at home in many markets, after being active in a number of punk bands and the wacky Burt Vegas & Combo followed a long silence in 2016 to emerge as Sevastopol. As a five-year-old boy Debroey was impressed by the moon landing, he brings that fascination with his electronic and adventurous, spatial mix over to the public. Modular and rudimentary. Nostalgic and mysterious, bring your space helmet, the air will be thin in the space cockpit of Sebastopol!
- 18:45 – DREAM INVASION Dream Invasion is the solo project of Erwin Jadot, the man collaborated on the debut album of Nothing But Noise 10 years ago, and released his fourth Dream Invasion album ’50’ this year, it celebrates the musician’s fiftieth birthday. Jadot guarantees a surprising electronic music trip with elements of industrial, ambient psytrance and sequenced percussion. Looking forward to this special concert.
- 20:00 – LOUNASAN Pieter Ghyselinck aka Lounasan is no longer unknown in the Belgian electronic music scene, he brought as Music For Installations released a number of strong ambient albums and together with Joost Carpentier he forms Cycles Of Moebius. Under the name ‘space ambient travel’ he performs as Lounasan his passions for travel and the music inspired by it together. Pieter is a musical centipede, or at least a dragon with seven heads, you expect both atmospheric dreamy tapestries of sound as spicy music aimed more at the legs.
- 21:15 – LOODVIG & FILL
The headliner of this edition will be two top class performers from the Belgian EM scene. Ludwig Lapauw and Philippe Ryckman are both musicians with a common passion for electronic music. Lapauw is active as a studio musician, flautist and singer, he worked together with 2Belgen and Ozark Henry and was part of the international collective Pablo’s Eye at the time of their album ‘You love Chinese Food’. Ryckman released early this century with ‘Frozen Waters’ and ‘Integrity’ two acclaimed ambient albums. Together with Ludwig Lapauw and Piet Rommelaere two albums as Tonic Solfa and later the two worked together under the moniker Dune. Philippe was contacted in 2006 to compose the theme music and perform for a major exhibition that took place in the In Flanders Fields Museum: ‘The Last Witness’. In recent years he has been releasing music under the name Obscure Wave Music. Over the years, Lapauw and Ryckman have worked constantly developing their skills for creating of soundscapes and music “on the fly”. Their music is created during the moment itself. As Loodvig & Fill they close Sonic Emissions #3. This will be a surprising concert anyway, most likely also for the musicians themselves.
