Christian Wittman (Lightwave) informed us about the release of a new album: “The starting point for this album was a series of experiments with a random soundscapes and drones generator. I find in this way of creating music the same part of improvisation, of randomness, but also of deep necessity that I experimented with the analogical synthesizers, in particular my ARP 2600 (I had three of them at a certain time! I still have one today).Around these soundscapes, I built ambient compositions in an intuitive way, by choosing the sounds, by letting me guide by the feeling, the harmonics, the images arising with the listening. It’s immersive music, because it asks the listener to immerse himself, like me, and to be carried by the waves, the harmonics, the pulsations and the sounds. My musical references will easily appear to you, even if I am not in a slavish reproduction mood.I listened a lot to Brian Eno, Harold Budd, Californian synthesists (Steve Roach, Michael Stearns…) and Berliner sorcerers (Klaus Schulze, Tangerine Dream… even if I obviously deviate from the standards of the Berlin School…)”

This album is available from Bandcamp, you surely need to give it a listen: the positieve, deep and eery soundscapes will give you the experience as if you are the only one in space, sometimes you think you hear angelic voices, are they?
