Kebu Live in Espoo (FIN)
June 4, 2022 - June 5, 2022
Kebu’s Urban Dreams Tour ends with a weekend of two special concerts in Kebu’s home town in Espoo (close to Helsinki) in his local theater, where many of Kebu’s music videos have been recorded:
- 4th of June, 2022: Urban Dreams concert. This will be the last concert of Kebu’s Urban Dreams Tour. The set list includes not only songs from his latest album, but also songs from his previous albums as well as a few covers
- 5th of June, 2022: To Jupiter and Back anniversary concert. To celebrate the 10 year anniversary of his debut album “To Jupiter and Back”, Kebu performs his whole debut album, from front to back, for the first time ever.
Each concert will be about 80-90 minutes long, accompanied by a spectacular light show! Both concerts will be recorded with video and audio for possible later releases.
The theater is very audience-friendly and intimate, with only four rows of seats for a maximum of 100 persons, and a large, wide stage. The theater is conveniently located 500 m from the metro station in Matinkylä. From Helsinki airport the trip takes only a little over an hour: first you take the train to downtown Helsinki, and then you take the metro. It takes 25 minutes by metro from Helsinki downtown (Kamppi) to Matinkylä.
The admission ticket comes with a discount code for Hotel Matts, which is located next to the metro station close to the venue.
A meet & greet event will be held directly after the Saturday concert at Restaurant Freja at Hotel Matts, starting at about 21 o’clock. There you have the opportunity to have a chat with me and buy CDs & vinyls. On Sunday the restaurant is closed, so then I will be selling merchandise in the foyer of the venue right after the concert.
There is no age limit at the venue. The venue has no bar or cafeteria, but it is only 500 m from Iso Omena, which holds about 50 restaurants/bars/cafeterias.
Ticket price: 26 euro per concert (numbered seat).
The concerts are supported by the Arts Promotion Centre Finland, MES – Musiikin Edistämissäätiö, Svenska Kulturfonden and Konstsamfundet.
