Kaitlyn Aurelia Smith will perform in the Melkweg (Amsterdam) on April 29, 2023… and on several other dates in Europe. (Full tour list below).
Her electronic pieces put you in a state of wonder and disorientation – in the most positive sense of the word. Gourmets in the ambient and new-age world have therefore been familiar with Smith’s oeuvre for years. On the new album ‘Let’s Turn It Into Sound’, which was released by Ghostly International, she opts for a more baroque and robust form of avant-pop. But the Buchla synthesizer still has a shining lead here too. On Saturday 29 April she will bring her synthesizers to Melkweg for an intimate, enchanting show at the Upstairs.
