We reproduce this earlier post from Kevin Braheny Fortune, involved in big synth systems until today.
“In true cosmic sync, I just came across these. The flyer is what we put together in ’76 for doing college seminars and performances. It lists Malcolm, Poli, Serge Tcherepnin, Kevin Braheny, and Frank Eventoff. It brings back memories. I spent four years and hundreds of hours modifying TONTO and building TONTO’s Studio in Venice, CA. A different time and a different world for sure. One day in Venice, Poli came in with these two stray Maine Coon cats. She kept one and I kept the other. (Burford! The best!) I also had many hours in Malcolm’s interesting aura. Many hours of Tai Chi “push hands” together. If you knew him, you noticed that the gears were always going full speed in his head. Brilliant man. And I was then going between Malcolm and Serge, another brilliant man and dear friend to this day.“
Kevin built this huge Serge modular system himself. We will try to invite him to write more on his proceedings and experiences
