Some days ago a nice picture showed up, taken in the summer of ’73, at Gong’s house in France – during the recording of Angels Egg.
Tim points out who is who on this picture: “There’s Phil Newell, from Manor Studios, Simon Heyworth, soundman .. and another from Virgin – certainly he who drove the heavyweight … I don’t see who reads the “instructions” .. .. Me, upstairs … I imagine it’s Gilli – or maybe his daughter Tasmyn hiding behind Tally… Orlando from behind all in front…”
