Some days ago I was in Cologne (Germany) for visiting the wonderful Christmas Markets. While in a large bookshop I was very happy to find these two magazines:

The special ‘Sonderausgabe’ edition with a nice feature on modular synthesis: complete with descirptions of the most important modules, a technology and brand overview and even a ‘Do it yourself’ chapter full of advice about what you need to start and how to build your own modules. Although no new information for me it is a very pleasant read.

The other one is #100 (yes, SynMag exists since 2006) with a review of the Roland Gaia 2, Ableton Push, Norand and much more new technology. And a special feature on female synthesists: each telling their story about their way of working, their favorite gear.
